It is an offence in England and Wales for someone to drive with legal drugs in their body if it impairs their driving. Certain medicines, substances and alcohol may effect someone's ability to drive. It is also an offence to drive if someone has over the specified limits of certain drugs in their blood and they have not been prescribed that dose. This flyer provides important information about the law and, over the counter medication(s), and prescription misuse.
